These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of the Veyo Product Personalizer plugin, its addons, and this website (together, the "Products"), operated by Veyo ("we", "us"), a trading name of Phi Nguyen (sole proprietor), Ha Noi, Vietnam. By purchasing or using the Products you agree to these Terms.
1. Purchases and payment
All purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC as our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles the checkout, collects payment, calculates and remits applicable taxes/VAT, and issues your receipt. Your purchase is also subject to the Lemon Squeezy Terms of Service.
Prices are listed in USD and may change at any time; changes never affect purchases already completed.
2. What you are buying
A purchase gives you, per license:
- A download of the current version of the purchased Product;
- A license key with up to two activation slots, intended for one production site and one staging site;
- Free updates for the lifetime of the product, for as long as we continue to develop and distribute it;
- Email support for six (6) months from the purchase date.
After the 6-month support period, your installed software keeps working and continues to receive free updates just like any other license — only continued email support requires a separate renewal, which will be available for purchase separately.
The Veyo core plugin is released as a separate product per platform — WordPress/WooCommerce, OpenCart, and PrestaShop editions are each sold and licensed separately. A core plugin license is valid only for the platform edition it was purchased for.
Addon licenses are cross-platform: one addon purchase entitles you to use that addon on any Veyo platform edition, subject to the same activation limit. Addons require an active installation of the Veyo core plugin for your platform.
3. Software license (GPL) and what the license key controls
The Veyo software — every platform edition (WordPress/WooCommerce, OpenCart, PrestaShop) and every addon, including the PHP code and the JavaScript/TypeScript/Vue source and compiled builds in each download — is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2.0 (or later), unless a bundled component states otherwise (for example, Background Remover bundles an AGPL-3.0-licensed library; see its README). That license governs your rights over the code, and nothing in these Terms limits them.
What you purchase from us is not the code alone but the official distribution and service around it:
- verified, malware-free downloads from the official source;
- lifetime manual update downloads through Lemon Squeezy My Orders;
- a license key and activation service;
- professional email support;
- documentation and future improvements.
License keys, the activation and update services, our website content, and the "Veyo" name and logo are not covered by the GPL and remain our property. You may not resell, share, or publish license keys, or use a key beyond its activation limit. If you redistribute the code under the GPL, you may not use the Veyo name or logo in a way that suggests your copy is official or endorsed by us. Copies obtained outside our official store receive no keys, official update downloads, or support.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Products for unlawful purposes or to infringe third-party intellectual-property rights (including in artwork your customers upload — you are responsible for content processed through your own store);
- attempt to circumvent, probe, or overload the license-activation or update services;
- misrepresent yourself in support requests or refund claims.
5. Coming-soon items
Platforms or addons labeled "coming soon" are announcements of intent, not commitments. Release timing, features, and pricing may change, and such items are not part of any current purchase.
6. Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Support
Support is provided by email only at support@veyodesigner.com, in English, on business days. Support covers installation, configuration, and defects in the Products. It does not cover custom development, third-party plugin/theme conflicts, server administration, or general WordPress consulting.
8. Disclaimer of warranty
The Products are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Products will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that they will work with every combination of themes, plugins, and hosting environments.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Products is limited to the amount you paid for the Product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost orders, or lost data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing restricts rights you hold under the GPL.
10. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be noted on this page. Continued use of the Products after a change constitutes acceptance.
