Troubleshooting & FAQ
The most common questions and fixes. If your issue isn't here, email support@veyodesigner.com with your order number, site URL, and versions.
Installation issues
"The link you followed has expired" while uploading the ZIP
Your server's upload limit is smaller than the plugin ZIP. Raise upload_max_filesize and post_max_size in your hosting control panel (64M is plenty), then retry. Most hosts expose these under "PHP settings".
"The plugin does not have a valid header"
The ZIP was unzipped (or re-zipped) before upload. Upload the original ZIP from your receipt email exactly as downloaded.
The Veyo menu doesn't appear after activation
Check that WooCommerce is installed and active, and that the site runs PHP 8.0+ (see Tools → Site Health → Info). Veyo stays dormant without WooCommerce.
License issues
"License key already activated"
The key is active on another site — often an old domain or an abandoned test install. Deactivate it there first, or email support with your order number and we'll reset the activation.
"Could not reach license server"
Your server is blocking outbound HTTPS requests. Ask your host to allow outgoing connections from PHP (some security plugins and firewalls block them), then try activating again.
Designer & export issues
The designer doesn't open on the product page
Almost always a JavaScript conflict or aggressive caching/optimizer settings. Try: (1) clear all caches, (2) exclude the product page from JS minification/deferral in your optimization plugin, (3) temporarily switch to a default theme to identify a theme conflict. If it only breaks with a specific plugin active, email us the combination.
Fonts look different in the exported file
Ensure the font is properly added to Veyo's font library rather than loaded only by your theme — Veyo provisions library fonts on the server so preview and export match exactly.
Export files look low-resolution
Check the print-area output size settings on the product (physical size and DPI) — the export resolution follows them. Also check that customers aren't uploading tiny images; the Print Preflight addon warns them automatically at design time.
Purchases & licensing FAQ
Where do I find my license key and downloads again?
In the Lemon Squeezy receipt email, or by logging into your Lemon Squeezy customer account ("My Orders") with your purchase email.
Can I use one license on multiple sites?
One key allows two activations, intended for one production site and one staging site. A third local/dev site needs a free slot or another license.
What happens when my 6 months of support ends?
Installed software keeps running and lifetime updates remain downloadable in My Orders. Only new support requests stop until support is renewed; support status is tracked separately from update entitlement.
Do addons work on OpenCart / PrestaShop?
They will. Addons are platform-portable by design — an addon you buy today is licensed for all Veyo platforms, so it will run on the OpenCart and PrestaShop versions when they're released.
How do refunds work?
See the refund policy — in short, 14 days, conditional on a genuine technical problem support couldn't fix.
