What it does

Templates & Smart Layouts lets you build a finished design in the admin — text, images, clipart, all positioned — save it as a template attached to a product, and let customers load it as a starting point in the designer with one click.

It's built for name-drop personalization: shops where every order uses the same layout and only one or two elements (a name, a number, a photo) actually change. Customers get a polished result fast, and you keep control of the overall design.

How to enable

  1. Buy the addon

Your Lemon Squeezy receipt email (and "My Orders" page) contains the addon ZIP.

  2. Upload it in the Veyo Apps screen

In WordPress admin, open Veyo → Apps and upload the ZIP. Veyo verifies the package and installs it.

  3. Enable it

Toggle Templates & Smart Layouts on. A new template builder becomes available in the admin.

How to use it

  1. Build a template

In the admin, open the template builder on a product, arrange the design, and save it — a thumbnail is generated automatically.

  2. Attach it to a product

Attach one or more templates to the product; customers will see them as starting-point options.

  3. Customer loads a template

In the designer, the customer picks a template from the templates panel and it loads fully arranged, ready to personalize.

FAQ

Can a product have more than one template?

Yes — attach as many as you like; customers choose which one to start from.

What happens if I edit a template after customers have used it?

Existing saved customer designs are unaffected; only new template loads pick up your changes.
