Curving text along a path with live controls

What it does

Text Curve adds curved and arched text with full control over arc presets, letter spacing, and direction — rendered as a real inline SVG text path rather than a raster effect, so it stays crisp at any print size.

It's the reference addon for Veyo's addon SDK — a self-contained example of a toolbar action, an item renderer, and an SVG exporter sharing one render function — and it's completely free, making it the easiest way to try addon quality before buying the paid ones. Typography Pro's Smart Badge feature builds directly on top of it.

How to enable

  1. Install the addon (free)

    Download the free Text Curve ZIP from your Veyo account — no purchase needed.

  2. Upload it in the Veyo Apps screen

    In WordPress admin, open Veyo → Apps and upload the ZIP. Veyo verifies the package and installs it.

  3. Enable it

    Toggle Text Curve on. The curve controls appear automatically in the text panel.

How to use it

  1. Select a text layer

    With a text item selected, open the Curve controls in the text panel.

  2. Pick an arch preset or go manual

    Choose a preset curve or manually adjust the arc, letter spacing, and direction.

  3. Preview updates live

    The curve renders live as an SVG text path, matching exactly what will be exported for print.
