What it does

QR & Barcode adds QR code and barcode as native, movable design item types. Codes are generated as crisp vector paths — not raster stamps — so they stay sharp at any print resolution and survive full-resolution export exactly as previewed.

Customers control the encoded content, foreground/background colors, error-correction level, and barcode format; the code is regenerated fresh at export time so the output always matches the live design rather than relying on a possibly-stale cached image.

How to enable

  1. Install the addon (free)

Download the free QR & Barcode ZIP from your Veyo account — no purchase needed.

  2. Upload it in the Veyo Apps screen

In WordPress admin, open Veyo → Apps and upload the ZIP. Veyo verifies the package and installs it.

  3. Enable it

Toggle QR & Barcode on. QR code and barcode become available as design item types in the designer.

How to use it

  1. Add a QR code or barcode

From the elements panel, add a QR code or barcode item to the canvas.

  2. Set the content and style

Enter the encoded data, choose colors, error-correction level (for QR), or barcode format.

  3. Position and resize like any layer

The code behaves like any other design item — move, resize, and combine it with text and images.

FAQ

Will the code still scan correctly after export?

Yes — because it's regenerated as a vector at export time from the same data, not a screenshot, it prints crisp and scannable at production resolution.

What barcode formats are supported?

Standard 1D barcode formats via the barcode item's format setting, alongside QR codes as a 2D option.
